The Service Manager gig in San Jose is over. Saturday I received the rejection letter by post. I am pleased that the decision maker took the time to write a note, which he forgot to sign. I take this as a good sign that the overall interview process was positive. For as little time that was spent during the interview section the fact that he did take the time to either put out a letter or have his secretary post it, indicates that there was some seriousness to their consideration. However, the question still begs to be asked, what happened to have me eliminated as a candidate. I probably will never know that reason.
The next best prospect is the Salesforce.com consultant position at Accenture. I have been through four separate interview sessions. They did indicate that they would make a decision based on what they currently have from me. That question is whether I will make the cut or not.
Still on my mind is the inside sales position at IDBS. The first phone session was a screen and overall I think it did well. I hope to hear from them that a first interview will be scheduled. Unless I hear soon this question might be answered in the negative.
